I was testing this site on another hoster and compared the speed with the speed on tso's servers. I saw 4 till 8 times of speed increase. So for this new site I will further test it on tso.
When the reliabillity also is good I also will move other sites to tso also.

My questions were answered quickly and also help was offered to move my database to the tso server.

So for now I am happy.

I give an 8 because I have to be hosted a bit longer to get a complete overview.

A breath of fresh air!!! After struggling with a.n.other host for nearly a year, moving to TSOhost is excellent - do it!!
My page load time has dropped from nearly 1 min to 2-3 seconds, my traffic has increased and sales through my e-shop started to increase!

Having crashed my own WordPress website (500 error) and spent a whole night trying to fix it, by 5am in the morning it was time to give up and seek help. I raised a ticket at 5:02am with TSO host on the off chance they may go above and beyond their contractual duties and help me out. I was truly amazed to receive a reply at 5:08am just 6 minutes later advising they had accessed my broken .htaccess file and repaired it for me and my site was back on line. After succesful 2 years with TSOHost I'm in the process of moving all my sites to their clustered hosting.

All I can say about the clustered service is: IT ROCKS! Fantastic performance and wonderfully scalable, which is perfect for Wordpress and other PHP-driven sites which attract traffic.

At the beginning I was sceptical about your control panel which I felt was rather basic. Today I must admit that it had all configuration options that were really needed. I I miss anything that would be a one-click installation of PhpBB or some other good forum software. Right now its Wordpress only, which is still greatly appreciated.

Also, the FTP connection is the fastest and most reliable I have seen EVER. Bulk copying feels almost like using an USB hard drive.

I've left a review before but wanted to leave another one as recently I had to move a client's site over to tso's clustered platform. The server they were on with UK2 just couldn't cope with the demand after the site was featured on This Morning. Once moved to TSO there was no problem.

I came to TSOhost on recommendation and I'm extremely confident in recommending their services to others. Not only does their platform give superb performance using Magento, but their support responds quickly to problems - almost always not of their making - and is extremely helpful - none of the BS replies I have experienced elsewhere.

For someone like me, who's been with more than their fair share of incompetent (sometimes even untrustworthy) providers, it feels like Tsohost were lovingly placed in a capsule by Jor-El and sent from outer space to save the industry. And, even better, they landed in the UK. (Not quite Scotland, but don't let that put you off!)

No service could ever guarantee 100% uptime, but on the two occasions I've experienced very short periods of downtime, I've immediately been able to get through to support via the freephone number and they've known exactly what was happening and why. They've also helped me with SSL certificates and URL rewriting via e-mail, always responding within ten minutes.

Overall, they deserve the highest recommendation I can give.

Just a short note to say your hosting is excellent and I'm really pleased with it! I have been web designing for years and tried many hosts - but your service is by far and away the best. It's fast and reliable, and I'm pleased to see you have not bothered with a call centre and gone for a technical support team instead. I know that if I send and email or pick up the phone, I'll get through to someone who knows what they're talking about. My Drupal sites run really quick, which is unusual for a shared host. The resources are generous, but realistic. So many other hosts these days promise unlimited, and we know that just leads to over-cramming and poor service. To put it simply, tsohost are the best web host I've ever used. Period.

I've been with many different companies before, all claiming to be better than each other. However once joining them it usually leads to quick disappointment. Sites run slow, they have more downtime than stated or the customer service is poor, run by call centres with unhelpful, unfriendly staff.

I moved around lots of these hosts before being recommended tsohost by a friend. They had the usual claims, fast reliable cheap hosting with great service. They had plenty of good reviews however, so I gave them a go. I'm extremely happy I did, because for once they did not dissapoint on their claims. Their hosting packages were cheap for what they offered, but more importantly they were fast and reliable with no downtime, which is important for the sites I run.

What impressed me even more though was their customer service. I'm yet to have a problem large enough that I've needed to call them, but on the few questions and niggles I have had, their support via email has been quite simply perfect. Whether emailing them at 3pm, 2am in the middle of the night or even on a Sunday, respone and action has been extremely fast, responding within 30 minutes each time, usually though it's less than 15 minutes. The response is friendly and useful, always sorting the issue right away, whatever it is. Simply brilliant.

I now host three websites with tsohost after transferring everything I own to them from other hosts (another process that was easy with plenty of help on hand), and I see no reason why I would ever leave them.

I now recommend them to anyone that ever asks for web hosting and will continue to do so.

Upon discovering TSO by "accident", i'm glad it's one accident i did have. Excellent speed and uptime, i've only ever seen the service go down once, and it was back again a few hours later. After a disaster choosing another hosting provider for our server and having over 2 weeks down time on and off for 1 year, we complained and requested some sort of credit on our account and were told to leave within 7 days, so we contacted tsohost and they came to the rescue with out of this world support, they identified a small glitch on the server we ordered and after 20-30 mins the issue had been resolved, if you want a descent managed server look no further.

After reading various reviews about TSO I asked a couple of questions on their forum re the CMS I use regularly - these were answered within minutes, on a Sunday, so that was a good pointer.

I signed up for my account, also buying a domain name, and the whole thing was an absolute breeze. There were no sleazy 'Buy These' extras in the signup process, which I have experienced with other hosts. Within minutes of signing up I was in my CPanel manager, had set up a database and was up and running.

I had an initial query regarding the hooking the database up in a CMS install, but this was due to my familiarity with Plesk over CPanel and its method of assigning premissions for the DB user, so there wasn't anything actually technically wrong. The query was again resolved very quickly, no fuss - and as an aside, I now definitely prefer CPanel over Plesk.

I frequently use MODx content management system, and on TSO platform this has been flawless.

I would thoroughly recommend TSO to anyone. They are friendly, efficient, everything works smoothly - if I could score them higher than 10 would!

I wasn't sure at first about moving my hosting over to TSO. Was hesitant about many things - the cloud, not running my own server, etc and then had a couple of hiccups on the first couple of sites that made me worry it was going to be a huge mistake.

I have been on the look out for a good hosting company for a number of years now. The host I was previously with would take at least 2 days to reply to any matters and the server was extremely unreliable. I own around 25 websites and cannot afford downtime.

Since joining TSO it's been like a dream. In my time the hosting hasn't gone down once, which is great, and it really makes a change. However, the crown jewel for me though is the customer service and response times from TSO. I would give it 10/10. Which would be a first for me because I'm always one to find fault and pick holes in things.

For instance, this morning, my web junior over wrote one of my sites files with a different sites files. I mailed TSO in desperation, got a reply within 5 minutes, and then the whole thing sorted in 10. This is a top service.

Normally I would freak out (it's a different language to me!) but I was able to follow the instructions and now everything seems to be working fine. I left it about a good 3 weeks to really check the performance of the site http://landed.at a travel and tour website which is monitored using web ceo I don't know how good webceo is but with godaddy the previous company it was bad. And I had also gotten used to their bad service which resulted in hold ups (the final straw was non IMAP email support). Well from 3/10 I now get 7/10 for that performance score. I was unsure at first how fast the servers were as I was getting very bad administration lag in my firefox. There are some issues with firefox and much is written on the web how to speed it back up, I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall it was in such a state on my machine. The point being I put these guys through it trying to nail down issues and they ran checks and set up some cool things to speed up the site things which ultimately goes beyond the call of most support. They have never appeared tired of support which is nice when one is stressed oneself and they are always helpful. In the end it was issues with my system and I am very happy with the service / support. I look forward to migrating across all of my websites to these guys, I cannot vouch for the domain name services offered and I was not really loving either of the email clients as standard, but obviously one can use ones own anyway.

Email Support: alwasy get a reply within 10 mins - have never had to wait longer. To my surprise I even got replies when working late (2am) one night, again within 10 mins.

Telephone Support: Never had to wait on hold ever. It's nice being able to speak to people who obviously know what they're talking about and can get any issues sorted very fast.

I have been with two other hosting companies in the past and they just don't compare to tsohost. I had never heard of tsohost and was very cautious but it was the best decision I made. Why? Because with my previous two hosts, I had to pester the support teams to fix things which we’re just not working in the control panels. Here, the control panel works fantastically, webmail and file manager are the best you will ever see, I promise! Also, things like Isapi Rewrite can be installed from the control panel, not with other hosts. Both Linux and Windows OS can be used from one control panel…in fact the list goes on and on.

I have only needed support once and my issue was attended to immediately and swiftly fixed. I have never been up and running so quickly in all my years working with hosting companies.

Having a couple of hosting accounts, 1 in the USA and 1 UK based I was looking to pull them all together under a single hosting account.

I posed the question via the pre-sales forum asking whether I could start with the standard package and then migrate to the pro as my exisitng hosting expired. A fast turnaround to my query gave me a great feeling of confidence and so I signed up. The hosting account went live and Adam and the team helped me migrate my domain over.

As my requirements increased I did indeed jump over to the Pro version of the hosting which simply involved creating a ticket and the switch was made. Again my requirements increased and so I added on additional "add-on" domains which again was painless and very quickly actioned.

At the begining of this week I was in need of more capacity so posed the question of whether I should buy more add-on domains or move to a reseller account. I was advised that the reseller account could be easily migrated to but I should also consider their new clustered hosting solution.

There wasn't a one button upgrade path but I loaded a new domain onto the clustered solution and all was well. Adam, James and Darren then helped move across one of my existing domains (files and MySql database) and kindly created new users and amended my config files so the site was up and running.

Following this fantastic service tsohost then offered to manually transfer all my other domains over which was far more than I had expected. Within the hour my other 8 domains where painlessly moved over so now I have a total of 12 domains on my new account!

I can't recommend tsohost enough and look forward to working more with tsohost in the future!

I recently moved to TSO clustered hosting platform after my old webhost had 5 days of downtime. This was unacceptable to me as my needs for webhosting had evolved.
TSO cluster hosting seemed to fit my hosting needs almost perfectly. Good price, excellent space and b/w allowance (can you find better fir the price that is not being oversold?)with extremely high uptime due to their clustered solution. The only things I was unsure about were the support and their own control panel.
Having, had the service for a few days now I can clearly say their support is excellent. They are about from early in the morning to late in the night (UK time) and are more than happy to help with anything. I have a very large site which required some hands on help moving the site over, restoring large sql databases etc. All of which was done quickly (less than 15 minutes by email mostly within 5 minutes). They even helped me reconfigure a few of my scripts that had a slight problem due to their hosting platform.
Their control panel is basic when compared to the likes of cpanel. However, anything it can not do yet can be easily done via email support. Plus they are adding new stuff all the time and this does not seem to be marketing but reality (as you can easily check their update logs).
Lastly, my old webhost had rsync backups which will done every day was a pain to access. having to contact support, wait for them to read ticket (sometimes hours) then make the files available via ftp ended up taking forever. TSO have their own backup system accessed via the control panel. Choose the time you want to access backup from (done every 15 minutes) and the whole backup is available to you via ftp. Excellent.

The only negative at the moment is a few missing features on their control panel that I can't live without. However, I have been assured they are being added in their next updates so I can wait for now.
TSO are extremely good at what they do and at the moment I am planning to host my website with them for the next few decades ;)

Just an update to my previous review, as I now need access to a remote SQL server. TsoHost have but me on a "hyrid" package, so i can use my existing blog (that uses php) and also asp,asp.net files.

This was set up very quickly.

I had several support queries and they all got very fast replies too.

Only annoyance is access to my SQL database. As I have a dynamic IP and TsoHost allow access their SQL server on a per IP basis, I need to occasionally re-open a support ticket to get my new IP allowed through their firewall.

However, I understand there will be an option available very soon to add any IPs you wish (this is available for MySQL databases only currently).

I moved to TSO a few months ago as I needed a faster shared hosting service for my busy forum.

So far it has been very good but when you consider the price it is incredible value!! It is faster than my previous host, and cheaper, but the deal clincher is the tech support. Quick and honest - if something breaks they tell you, unlike the generic "We are aware of a problem and will rectify it as soon as possible" you get from everyone else. Do not be put off by the contact numbers or support times being quoted as office hours only. I can't tell you how much better it is getting a quick and productive response during those times, than being able to ring a so called 24/7 support line at 11pm only to be put through to someone in Puerto Rico or India who doesn't know any more than the office cleaner would, and doesn't care anyway.

Please note that a key feature of TSO which is often overlooked or buried away is unlimited mysql database size (within limits of your hosting). Many shared hosts limit you to 100Mb or 200Mb - this can be critical to larger forums.

My football website www.footballshq.co.uk was hosted on another host for 2 years, and felt it was time i moved on, as i was constantly having problems with MySQL hosting, timeouts, errors, losing connection, and their support were just not up to scratch. So i researched a number of other hosts before commiting. Being UK based i wanted a host in the UK this time, as before I used a euro host.

After a few weeks of researching i came across Tshohost, and first impressions was very nice. Thier home page loaded extremly fast for me, and the ping test rate was second to none. They offer 3 types of packages which cater for most. I opted for the middle package as i already had a website ready to transfer and required a certain amount of space and bandwidth.

When signing up i received a 10 percent discount FOR LIFE as they are offering a coupon when signing up. My account was set up within a few hours, if you cant wait that long, they set up a temporary URL for you log into cpanel almost instantly. After uploading my site and creating a new MySQL database i ran a few tests to check speeds. To my surprise my website loaded as fast as their homepage did, usually hosts optimize their website on a dedicated server to try give false impressions of their speeds. I was already happy at this point as i could browse my forum very very quickly.

After a few weeks i had some support issues, which i raised via tickets, and i had a reply from Darren within the hour, and it actually felt like i was talking to someone who cared about my problem and knew what they were talking about. He was very helpful and sorted my issue out promptly.

About a month down the line i decided to buy another domain name, and wanted this domain to be the primary domain on my account, so i raised a ticket to ask if this could be done, thinking it probably couldnt. Again to my surprise they replied with a positive answer and asked a few questions about what and where i'd like things moved to, and low and behold in 24hours my account was updated with the new domain as my primary account! Well impressed again!

So if i could rate their support out of 10 instead of 5 i would rate it 10 without hesitation! They also have support forums where you can ask general questions and chit chat as well. They do have phone support as well if you need it, which is always a plus!

I've now upgraded myself to their top package as i needed to expand, and felt no problems at all spending a little more with them. Talking of spending, their prices for packages are very competitive, ranging from £14.99 a year to £4.99 a month for the top package.

Its well worth the look if your looking for a UK host!

Now that IS support - coupled with the fact I asked for concise help. He came back with "no waffle" response. I received precise information set out intelligently and to the point. So often in my experience elsewhere, individual questions are not addressed directly. I have received information that the organisation wants me to read and accept, which they hope will sidestep the maybe difficult questions I have asked and to which they have not addressed themselves.

Been with Tsohost for about a year now - brilliant service. Support is bang on - had a few queries about my ftp not working and a messed up dns, to which I got very fast replies.

If Carlsberg did webhosting, this would be it. Possbily the best Customer service ever.

Excellent host so far. Have had minimal downtime which has been rectified in a matter of minutes. Excellent customer service, with fast resposnse to emails, and they had no probelms with me being slightly late on the subscription payment due to an issue with PayPal.

Wooop. Had no problems with them. Been with 1 host before and I wanted something based in the UK. They provide great service. I asked them about some PHP problems I was having. 10 mins later they replyed to my email with the help I need. Really friendly people.

I have been with a few hosts before i was reccomended Tsohost by a friend. All of my past hosts would get hacked on a regular basis, and also never made backups. TsoHost is by far the best host I have been with, very cheap and competitive prices aswell! It also has second to none support, and questions are answered any time of the day. I have a custom account with them and has been spot on!

BIt of downtime, not the best value in the world but its a UK host. Much better than all other UK hosts ive used or know users of.

Very speedy host with great customer service at a good price. Extremely easy and fast to set up an account too.
Downtime is minimal and with many apologies when it does occur.
