Domain Name Registration

A domain name is your address on the internet. For instance, bobs-cleaning.co.uk. With that domain name and appropriate hosting, you can set up email (bob@bobs-cleaning.co.uk), host a website (www.bobs-cleaning.co.uk) or even point DNS aliases at your in-house servers (server123.bobs-cleaning.co.uk).

If you do not already have a domain name, Tsohost can register one on your behalf, either alongside a hosting package or as a standalone service, all available via our integrated billing system.

.uk domains can only be registered or renewed for a fixed period of 2 years. GTLD (.com, .net, .org) domains can be registered, transferred or renewed from 1 to 10 years at a time. When transferring in a GTLD domain, you will be required to purchase a renewal of at least 1 year (£6.99) unless taking advantage of the 'free domain' offer when taking a Pro package annually.

We are fully accredited members of Nominet, the UK domain name authority. As such, we must abide by their terms and code of conduct. All domain names registered through Tsohost are registered in the client's name and can be transferred out at will, without any release fees. We can also of course accept transfers in - if you require this service, please order via the billing system.
