The Hosted Exchange system also provides 'direct push' e-mail to compatible devices as well as the usual Outlook and Outlook Web Access based services. This enables you to receive e-mails almost instantaneously in most cases.

SSL Certificates
An SSL certificate is a must for e-commerce, especially if you are taking credit card payments through your website.
A signed SSL certificate from Tsohost not only facilitates the secure connection between your site and your visitors, it also verifies your identity so that the client can be reassured that their sensitive information is safe. The user will see the yellow 'padlock' symbol in their browser to assure them of the authenticity of your website.
Our SSL certificates are signed by Equifax, recognised in 99% of browsers and provide 128/256 bit encryption. The certificates can be used on any Tsohost hosting package or dedicated server.

Dedicated Hosting
A Tsohost dedicated server combines the ease of use of our shared hosting packages with the performance and ultimate flexibility of having your own server. A Tsohost dedicated server is fully managed by our team of experts and, from your perspective, a Tsohost dedicated machine will operate in the same way as a reseller account with no knowledge of server admin required.
As a dedicated server customer, you will be able to request custom configurations for software such as PHP, Apache, MySQL, spam filtering, etc.
You'll add, remove and modify your hosted websites using the familiar and novice-friendly cPanel and WHM interfaces and use our distributed DNS cluster (with your own vanity nameservers if required) but will have the ability to host a large number of websites, subject of course to system resources. You will be the only client hosted on the server and will share your CPU capacity, hard disks and RAM with nobody else.

Host Multiple Websites
We place no 'hard' limit on the number of websites you can host on your server. However there is clearly no such thing as "unlimited" capacity and you will of course be limited by the available resources of the server. If you need to host a particularly large dynamic website or a large number of smaller websites, please contact us prior to ordering.
Quad Core CPU
The Quad Core Intel Xeon CPU in our DS1 package provides approximately twice the performance of an old-style Dual 3.2Ghz machine. This will be ample for all but the most demanding of websites. If you have a large forum, an e-commerce store or similar, this server will meet your needs
4GB RAM
RAM is your server's temporary storage. Information being accessed by the operating system is stored in the RAM as this is many times faster than disk based storage. The more RAM you have, the more can data be stored at any one time and therefore the faster your sites will perform.
RAID 1
RAID 1 storage involves 2 identical disks which are written to at the same time by a RAID controller card installed in the server. As both drives always have an identical copy of your data, if one drive fails, its mirror continues in its absence without causing any downtime to your website(s) or other services running on the server. The failed drive is then replaced with a brand new hard drive and the data resynchronised, thus restoring the redundancy.
We also perform regular off-server backups in case of accidental deletion.
300GB Usable
The DS1 package comes with 2x 300GB hard disk drives. These are fast 15,000RPM SCSI disks, far superior in speed and reliability to those normally used in desktop computers. As these are configured in RAID 1, the total usable capacity is 300GB. Allowing space for the operating system, software and log files you can normally expect around 250GB remaining for your websites.
Monthly data transfer
This package provides 2000GB monthly data transfer. This is the aggregate of all data in and out of the server and is a soft limit - if you exceed it we will contact you to ask how you would like to proceed. For comparison, 2000GB of data transfer is approximately 105 million page views (based on a 20kb page) or 500,000 MP3 downloads.
